Catherine Frimond-Laubiès
Head of certification
Catherine Laubiès-Frimond has worked in professional training since 2014. At Linguaid she is head of certification, a central role covering both the set-up and follow-up of legal English training and the coordination of the CAJA certification (Communiquer en anglais juridique des affaires). She organises the assessment sessions, sends the notices to candidates and issues the certificates after the jury’s deliberations, ensuring administrative compliance and the quality of the certification process in close liaison with trainers, assessors and partner organisations. Before joining Linguaid she spent 16 years in international import-export, after studying at university in the United States. A former sales director, she worked in a demanding multilingual environment where she developed her skills in organisation, communication and intercultural coordination. A keen traveller and linguist, Catherine now puts her interpersonal skills and eye for detail at the service of learners’ success and the smooth running of legal English training and certification programmes.
